CCNA practice tests are exactly that: practice exams that are used to study for the actual written test that every CCNA student must pass to get their certification.

While some people believe that CCNA practice tests encourage short cuts and lack of attention to thoroughly absorbing the material in CCNA courses, others believe that they’re a valuable aid in getting your CCNA, as the practice tests and exams give students a good idea what to expect when it’s finally test time. While the questions on practice tests are different than what they’ll face in their real exams, they serve as a good gauge of just how prepared (or not) when it comes to the sorts of material that will be on the written exam.

Many different vendors offer practice tests and other study guides, so your mileage may vary, as far as how useful the practice tests are to you. Remember, too, that there’s really no shortcut to absorbing and learning the material, as simply memorizing the practice exam questions of CCNA braindumps isn’t going to be enough to successfully land a perform a job that requires a CCNA, even if you manage to pass the certification test.

CCNA braindumps are used by students who are looking to pass the Cisco CCNA certification process. The CCNA is the entry level certification that acknowledges a student has successfully demonstrated a working knowledge of basic networking principles and how they relate to Cisco products.

CCNA braindumps are allegedly actual questions from past CCNA exams, so they not only provide practice questions that one might expect to see on their CCNA exam, but are actual questions used that might be on the exam, word for word. This is slightly different than CCNA practice tests, which mimic the format of the CCNA exam and asks the sorts of questions that are likely to appear, but don’t pretend to be exact questions from actual exams.

For the above reasons, many people frown upon the use of CCNA braindumps, as they’re often used as a shortcut to actually learning the material necessary to pass the CCNA certification exam. While the CCNA cert may be necessary for many jobs, you’re more than likely to be quickly busted when applying for most jobs if you simply memorized what you found on assorted braindumps and managed to pass the exam without any real working knowledge of the material.

A+ certification is probably the most prevalent computer-related standard out there, and is typically required of people working in a variety of computer service positions. It’s recognized by nearly every employer and serves as a good baseline measure of your skill in IT environments, as far as securing an entry level job.

While A+ certifications are a completely different beast than the Cisco certificates, they’re slightly related in that many people start off with an A+ certificate and slowly work their up to more advanced Cisco certifications in specialized fields.

Cisco training is a broad term used to refer to the Cisco certification process in general, which provides a way of quantifying the skills and experience of networking professionals in relation to a variety of Cisco products.

One thing to note is that the majority of Cisco training is carried out by companies other than Cisco, usually schools and training programs that provide training classes and boot camps where students study to achieve various certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE.

Because of the nature of the Cisco training process, that are relatively few set standards and protocols, as far as the nature of the instruction that you receive. Each program is not only able to set what fees it charges you, but the level of the instruction varies as well. All students must pass the same exams and labs in order to complete the course and get certified, but training classes vary from school to school.

While few people claim that completing their Cisco training is fun, it’s becoming more and more necessary to hold a variety of Cisco certifications these days if you want to be competitive in the market for many networking jobs.

CCIE training is different from some of its other Cisco certifications, as there are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. You don’t have to have a certificate in other disciplines (although it likely helps), don’t have to complete classroom hours, or take part in any sort of formal class or boot camp.

Instead of formal classes or training, candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. If you know your stuff and are an expert in Cisco Enterprise VoIP environments, all you have to do is pass the written and lab exams and voila, you have your CCIE certification.

Written exams are offered independent vendors and cost about $300. The price may vary from program to program, though, as each vendor or school can set their own price.

After you pass the written exam, the last step is to take and pass an eight hour CCIE Voice lab exam. In the lab exam you will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, gateways and gatekeepers, as well as various other network elements. The CCIE lab exam costs $1,250 per attempt and you receive your results within 48 hours.

Sound easy? Well, in theory, perhaps, as far as simply strolling in, passing the exams, and getting your certification, but a relatively small number of people are able to successfully get their CCIE certification, as it’s a very intensive test and you definitely need to know your stuff. Due to the cost of the exam, it’s a pretty expensive mistake, too, if you take it and fail, finding out suddenly that you’re not the hotshot you thought you were.

CCNA training is an important step in getting the Cisco certification that will set you apart from other applicants in a variety of networking jobs. While you could simply rely on experience and knowledge in the past to get your foot in the door with many employers, it’s increasingly difficult to land jobs in the networking field if you don’t have the necessary Cisco certifications.

Cisco CCNA training is conducted by third-party partners and schools, and typically culminates in students successfully passing the required exams and labs for your CCNA certification. Instructions consists of classroom hours, practice labs, and other hands on lessons, all designed to give students a thorough understanding of all of the issues that a CCNA is expected to tackle on a daily basis. CCNA boot camps are also available, which allow you to get your certification in a very short period of time.

CCNA training classes aren’t cheap but in most cases they quickly pay for themselves, as far as directly translating into substantial raises at your current job or opening up additional doors at potential new, higher-paying jobs. In many cases, advanced Cisco certifications require that you have completed the CCNA training as a prerequisite, so getting your CCNA certification is more and more a necessity and not simply a luxury, as it was in the past.

As with any course or class, all programs are not created equal, so be sure to shop around, explore all of your options, and be sure to ask for recommendations of good training programs from anyone you know that has already completed the CCNA certification process.

CCNP training is part of the certification process for those pursuing a professional level certificate in Cisco products. CCNP certification recognizes success in installing, configuring and troubleshooting local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs) with 100 to 500 or more nodes.

In order to get your CCNP, you’ll need to know how to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as other edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security. The CCNP training will cover all of these topics, and more, so that graduates have a thorough, professional knowledge.

CCNP training is a mixture of classroom and lab instruction, and is offered by a variety of Cisco partners and training programs around the world. In order to pursue the CCNP, students must have first completed the prerequisite CCNA certification. There are also intensive CCNP boot camps that are geared towards getting your certification in a very short period of time, even as quickly as 5 days.

Students who successfully pass the CCNP exam will receive their certification, which must be renewed every three years. As far as the value of the CCNP out in the field, it’s increasingly important to have more than just your basic CCNA certification, as more and more employers are looking past the CCNA and expecting that job candidates have at least their CCNP, so training and certification will definitely improve your job prospects in the workplace.

Just as is the case with CCIE boot camps and CCNP boot camps, a CCNA boot camp is designed to get you your Cisco CCNA certification as quickly as possible, scheduling your class time, tests, and labs within a very short time frame. Many working professionals prefer this choice as it allows you to flex your networking muscles, get your certifications, and get back to doing your job, with as little hassle as possible.

The details of CCNA boot camps vary program to program, as most are run independently. Bootcamps are typically 10-14 day programs, although you can find intensive 5 day programs. Bootcamps vary in both cost and quality of instruction, so be sure to shop around and explore the options for different camps that you’ll find here on the site. Some programs are all-inclusive, charging you one total fee that covers your class and lab costs, airfare, lodging, and meals, while others are simply for the classes, with you footing the bills for any other expenses.

CCNA bootcamps and classes are offered around the country in a variety of locations, and based on the popular of the Cisco certification program, the odds are great that there’s a program near you. While the process of getting certified may seem like a huge pain and hassle, the extra money and/or promotions that can result from getting your CCNA training and certification usually more than makes up for it.

The Cisco CCIE Voice certification is a bit different from some of its other certifications, as there are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. You’re not required to complete a training course or boot camp or any other related professional certifications. You simply have to pass a written exam as well as a corresponding hands-on lab exam.

Instead of formal classes or CCIE training, candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. You are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exams and strongly encouraged to have at least three to five years of job experience before attempting the CCIE Voice certification.

The first step is passing a two-hour, 100 question written qualification exam covering the technology and applications involved in the Cisco Enterprise VoIP environment. Once you pass the test, you can proceed to the second step and schedule a lab exam. Written exams are typically adminstered by independent vendors and cost about $300, although the pricing is set by each training school or class that’s offering the exam. Cisco also often offers beta exams on its site at a discounted rate (usually $50 or so). While they count just the same as the exams offered by vendors, you don’t immediately know the results and have to wait six weeks or so for your results.

After you pass the written exam, the second and final step is to successfully complete the eight hour CCIE Voice lab exam. In the lab exam you will be responsible for configuring pre-installed applications to satisfy the requirements of the exam, as well as to troubleshoot various aspects of voice network, including VLANs, gateways and gatekeepers, and managing quality of service. The lab exam costs $1,250 per attempt and you receive your results within 48 hours. The exam is graded by proefessional proctors that use information from equipment and routers as evaluation tools as well as their personal judgment as to your success or failure.
